MAC Group is proud to celebrate its first participation in the Telecom Cup Dragon Boat Race, where our team delivered an impressive performance and secured the “Strongest Endurance Award” — or “最强耐力奖.”
Held on 12 June along the Kallang River in Singapore, the second Telecom Cup Dragon Boat Race brought together 11 participating teams to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival through sport, teamwork and cultural exchange. The event was jointly organised by the Chinese Enterprises Association (Singapore) and China Telecom Asia Pacific.
A Promising First Appearance
As a first-time participant, the MAC Group team entered the competition with enthusiasm, determination and a strong willingness to learn. Despite having no previous experience in the event, the team quickly found its rhythm and recorded one of the fastest timings among all teams during the group stage.
This achievement reflected the team’s ability to adapt quickly, work together under pressure and maintain focus throughout the race. Every stroke required precision and coordination, with the entire crew moving as one to drive the boat forward.
The strong group-stage performance earned MAC Group a place in the final, marking a remarkable achievement for the team’s debut appearance.

Giving Everything in the Final
The final presented an even greater challenge, with the strongest teams competing for the top position. MAC Group fought hard from the start, maintaining its intensity and determination until the final stroke.
Although the team did not win the final, its performance demonstrated the resilience and competitive spirit that carried it through the tournament. Reaching the final in its first-ever dragon boat competition was already a significant accomplishment and a proud moment for everyone involved.
A first race, a place in the final and an award for endurance — this is only the beginning for Team MAC Group.
